Setup
Get your workflow up and running in minutes with these simple steps.
You'll need an Eliassdevland n8n hosting plan, an OpenAI account, a Tavily account, a JSON2Video account, a Gmail account, and an Anthropic account.
In n8n, open Credentials → New → OpenAI. Paste your OpenAI secret key and, if required, your organization ID. Save, then select the credential in every node that references the OpenAI service.
Create a Generic HTTP Header Auth credential. Set the Header Name to Authorization and the Header Value to "Bearer YOUR_TAVILY_KEY". Save and attach this credential to the HTTP Request node that calls https://api.tavily.com.
Create another HTTP Header Auth credential using the header name and value format required by JSON2Video (commonly Authorization: Bearer YOUR_JSON2VIDEO_KEY). Attach it to both nodes that call https://api.json2video.com.
In Credentials, click New → Gmail OAuth2 and follow Google's OAuth flow to grant n8n access to the account that will send the final video email. Choose this Gmail credential in the "Send Email" node.
Create a new Anthropic credential in n8n, paste your API key and save it, then assign it to the LangChain Anthropic node so the script-writing step can run.
Open the Set node labelled "Paste your template_id" and replace the empty template_id value with the template ID you received from JSON2Video, then save the node.
Edit either form node to add or remove dropdown choices for categories, styles, durations or voice models to better match your creative needs.
Update the Gmail node's subject and body text, or adjust the two Wait nodes if you need a different rendering buffer or email wording.
Click Save, then toggle the workflow to Active. The automation starts when someone submits the public User Input Form — guiding them through video selection and sending the finished video by email.
